But this isn't just about money – it's about partnership. I'd be grateful for your prayers too as our teams prepare for these journeys.
Right now I am raising funds to help me with missions trips in 2025. I just came back from serving in the United Kingdom. In May I will be headed to the Netherlands to help with leading a nature workshop for missionary kids, while their parents are at a conference. In July I'm going to the Yucatan to help with a VBS. And in September I'm headed to Tanzania to help teach sewing to girls and meet my sponsor child. Any extra funds that are raised will go towards travel fees, purchasing gifts for those we are serving and for spending money for myself.
Netherlands Trip in May:
Renew is an event that will offer Greater Europe Mission (GEM) missionaries based in Europe an opportunity to rest, recharge, and reconnect with the Lord and their fellow GEM colleagues. The Renew Event Service Team has the special honor of supporting the GEM community through hospitality and children's ministry. Each team plays a vital role in the event’s success, ensuring that the missionaries leave refreshed and ready to return to their ministries with renewed energy.
Yucatan Trip in July:
This team will serve in the San Lucas hospital as well as partner with a local church to do host a Vacation Bible School in the village.
Tanzania Trip September:
This team will celebrate with our students graduating from our primary schools in Tanzania and heading off to secondary school. This will be a proud moment for our students, their families, and their supporting U.S. families as they graduate from our primary schools in Mairowa and Kondoa! In addition Threads of Hope will be teaching several girls how to sew using treadle sewing machines.
